Lieutenant General K. Kousantas: 7 decisive steps that Athens must take to put Turkey in its place

“Our country, in the face of the continuous calm of the last 25 years, has not taken advantage of either the international legal interpretations of the Lausanne Treaties or the creation of a national position – a narrative for the legal inclusion of Turkey in the Aegean,” he said.

New important intervention by Lieutenant General e.a. Konstantinos Kousantas for Greek-Turkish.

It should be noted that Mr. Kousandas has served at the NATO Rapid Reaction Headquarters in Spain – Valencia as Assistant Brigadier General and holds two Masters in International Security (Plymouth) and International Relations (Brussels).

The whole of his new intervention follows:
THE MINETY TIMES (THE TIMES DO NOT WAIT)

According to Thucydides, Pericles’ speech states the imperative immediate reaction of our country to the response of the Turkish Foreign Minister who stated that “there is a greater Turkey that is not trapped on its borders”.

Our country should have trapped TURKEY IN ITS REAL SEA AND AIR BORDER AT 3 STATIC MILES, under the Treaty of Lausanne as referred to in Article 12, unless otherwise provided by OF THE THREE (3) STATIC MILES OF THE ASIAN COAST, remaining under Turkish rule “and of course where there is no Greek island opposite (beginning of the middle line).

Unfortunately, in the face of the continuous calm of the last 25 years, our country has not taken advantage of either the international legal interpretations of the Lausanne Treaties or the creation of a national position – a narrative for the legal enclosure of Turkey in the Aegean.

In conclusion, our country is officially required:

To submit Greek interpretations of the Lausanne Treaty for the exclusion of Turkey to 3 static miles with a complete narrative to the UN and all international organizations.

To cooperate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Ministry of National Defense with Greek or foreign universities in order to legally exclude Turkey in the 3 static miles with international legal claims.

To accuse Turkey, because it does not agree with the proposal of Greece to refer the matter to the International Court of the Law of the Sea until the settlement of the EEZ – continental shelf

To accuse Turkey of not signing the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea in Jamaica, where 168 countries have signed.

Turkey should be legally reported to the ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization and IMO – International Maritime Organization because it creates a high risk of accidents at air and sea respectively since both of these international organizations belong to the UN.

To submit to the UN under Article 13 of the Treaty of Lausanne a report on the electronic traces of Turkish violations, which clearly states that it is forbidden for Turkish planes to fly over Greek islands – “Respectively, the Ottoman Government will prohibit its military to fly over the said islands ”

Do not allow our country to conduct exercises outside the 3 static miles and reject any NAVTEX with CONTINUOUS PRESENCE of the Navy from Samothrace to Kastelorizo, citing Article 51 of the UN on the right of defense of each state when threatened.

Our country must stand worthy of the bravery and determination of the emerging new political will by denouncing Turkey to all international organizations UN – NATO – EU – ICAO – IMO based on its hard power – military power to impose the views required immediately.
