The Ka-52 Alligator is the Russian attack/reconnaissance helicopter that carries the unique coaxial rotor system, a technology that allows for increased cruise speed and instantaneous turning capability.
The K-52 Alligator is the two-seater and complete version produced for the Russian Army.
It has a fixed armament of a 30mm cannon, while in 4 carriers it can carry a number of combinations with 80mm rockets, A/T Vikhr missiles (up to 24) and machine gun and mine launchers.
It has an excellent and complete sensor package consisting of a turret that combines a thermal camera, a day camera and a laser rangefinder, an auxiliary navigational turret and a radar on the nose of the helicopter, while a unique feature is that it has an ejection seat for both the pilot and the HOS.
