From 22 February to 01 March 2024 and within the framework of the Joint Action Plan of Greece – Cyprus – Egypt for the year 2024, training of 4 Officers from Egypt, 1 Officer and 1 NCO from Cyprus took place at the Camp “YPLCHOU ZOGKOU GEORGIOU” in Nea Santa Kilkis , on “Close Protection Group” items.
The training included subjects such as guarding vulnerable targets, infantry escort formations, protection team combat exercises, countering threats with self-defense techniques, convoy basics, dignitary arrival and departure procedures, small arms fire and rapid reaction combat fire.
