At the same time, it is warming up its war machine, having initially decided to turn against the YPG Kurds in Syria, against whom it intends to carry out a military operation and then, depending on the situation that will develop and the reaction of the West, will see what it will do with our country. .
In a recent article we referred to the fact that we do not expect a manifestation of Turkish aggression at the military level in Evros, at least in the first year, where we may see again the possible threat of accumulation of migrants in order to cross into Greek territory.
The exception is the islets of Evros, where care is required.
-Evros and Aegean are part of the crucial axis for NATO-US-EU interests, both in terms of the transfer of troops-weapons systems and ammunition to Eastern European countries and Ukraine, as well as natural gas from North African countries -Mortheast to Alexandroupolis and from there to European countries.

Counting together M / KTAX and THTT we find that the 1st Army has a total of 10 Formations and therefore an equal number of Squadrons, one in each of them, as well as 3 TAXKD.
These forces constitute a total force of 5TAXKD (+) of the 1st Army in Eastern Thrace. Here we have to count the Military Expeditionary Regiment (S-X) in Vizy, so in total the KD Brigades of the Turks are a total force of 6TAKKD (+)
Also in Eastern Thrace are based the 116th Training Regiment (S-X in Tsanakale and the 125th Training Regiment (S-X) in Istanbul.
It is clear from the above that the Turks do not seem to be shy in the area of Evros, increasing the fighting power of the 1st Army.
