Indian “lightning bolts” against Erdogan: “He provokes us in Kashmir, threatens Greece & wants to exterminate journalists”

In an important article, the Indian media “newindian.in” proceeded, which “blasts” RT Erdogan, while also referring to Ankara’s provocations against Greece.

Analytically:

“The regime of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has tried to raise the Kashmir issue on several occasions, continues to harass and silence his critics both in Turkey and abroad.

In one such recent incident, a pro-establishment Turkish newspaper published personal information about a dissident journalist, including his photos and his home address in Sweden, on its front page, putting his life at risk.

Senior officials in the Erdogan government have, in the past, openly threatened to kill Abdullah Bozkurt, who fled Turkey after an alleged coup attempt in 2016.

In an interview with the CNN news channel last year, Mesut Hakkı Casin, a member of the Presidential Security and Foreign Policy Council, called Bozkurt a “traitor.”

Bozkurt has written extensively on the regime’s internal repression. corruption; ties to Iran, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda and ISIS; attacks on Iraq and Syria; and export of Islamism.

Just a few days ago, he revealed the regime’s plans to challenge NATO member Greece using covert operations.

“MIT will find (Bozkurt), I’ll tell you that … I don’t know if (they) will feed him to the fish or the sharks, but traitors are always punished,” Kassin had said, according to a statement issued by the Middle East Forum (MEF) where he is a columnist.

Bozkurt said the newspaper’s actions were part of “a campaign of intimidation” to send a “creepy message” to him and other critics like him.

“Erdogan’s intrusive spying has put my safety at risk and has put my family’s safety at risk. But I refuse to be bullied and I will continue my work,” said Bozkurt.

The researcher worked for Today’s Zaman newspaper, which was closed during the alleged coup attempt. He moved to his current address in Sweden after he was injured in a brutal attack by three men outside his former residence in Stockholm in September 2020, according to the MEF.

Countless other Turkish journalists and dissidents have been forced to flee Turkey since 2016. Many of them have been forced back to Turkey against their will, while others have been subjected to assassination plots. The few critics who still reside in Turkey continue to be harassed and intimidated by the hardline Islamic establishment.

Commenting on the matter, Middle East Forum (MEF) founder and chairman Daniel Pipes said: “This barbaric behavior is par for the course for the Erdogan regime. It threatens Greece, blackmails Sweden and Finland, invades Syria, bombs the Kurds and exports radical Islam worldwide. Let Turkey go to Russia and China. It’s time for a NATO 2.0 without him.”

The Middle East Forum advances American interests in the region and protects Western civilization from Islamism through a combination of original ideas, focused activism and allied funding, it states on its website.
