Greek-Turkish: Preparations for electronic warfare with Turkey have begun

Greek-Turkish: The preparation for the electronic war with Turkey has begun with the modernization of the Greek radars on the islands, but something more needs to be done immediately.

The GEA’s planning also includes the upgrade of the Air Traffic Control System with AESA 3D technology radar, enabling Greece to see everything from the islands to Ankara.

This specific step is very important, but it is not the only one that needs to be done, since the modernization of the four Greek Erieye flying radars is also NECESSARY.

The Greek flying radars must be immediately upgraded to Globaleye.

The Erieye EMB-145 AEW&C is an aerial Command & Control (C2) platform, with the Brazilian Embraer EMB-145 system carrier aircraft.

The Hellenic Air Force has four such aircraft, which if upgraded will give Athens multiple possibilities in cases of electronic warfare as they will be able to blind enemy radars.

It should be noted that the Globaleye EMB-145 AEW&C will provide an image in real time, at a range of more than 400 km.

The field of electronic warfare is a field in which Turkey has developed quite a bit, so quick steps are needed from Athens to get the upper hand there as well.
