“…It is a day of high symbolism, in the conceptual background of which coexist principles, values and ideals, which represent the House and highlight the purpose it serves. The same principles, values and ideals highlighted the Patron Saint of the Body, whose Memory is honored today, as unchanging over time, a model of consistency, ethics and responsibility, as a source of courage, strength and strength…

… the feelings of pride and satisfaction that all of us who serve in the Police Force feel on this special day, renew and at the same time strengthen our debt and responsibility, both towards society and the State itself, which trusted us and designated us as Law enforcement…

… This selfless and steadfast attitude and commitment that you have to your official duty and mission, is also the reason why the police is established in the consciousness of the world and the opinion that you are always next to the citizen is strengthened and consolidated…

… Be sure that I know and appreciate the systematic efforts you make, -one by one-, the professionalism and the high sense of responsibility with which you face the daily challenges, small or large in scope.

And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the offer and the daily battle you fight. A battle of permanent dual content. On the one hand, to restore orderly social functioning and order, on the other hand, to prevent and suppress any kind of criminal behavior and legal deviation.

As today is a day of celebration and joy, we do not forget those colleagues who are no longer with us, all those who lost their lives in the line of duty, defending all the fundamental rights of citizens, with faith in their oath and in all range of obligations arising from it.…

…Happy Birthday !”
