The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias visited today, Friday, December 16, 2022, the headquarters of the Presidential Guard, at the “GEORGIOS ZAVELAS” camp in Athens, where he was received by the Commander of the Unit, Lt. Col. Ilias Karmiris.

As part of the visit, the Deputy Minister of National Defense was informed by the Administration about the long history, mission and actions of the Presidential Guard and toured its traditional workshops.

He also spoke with the executives and the Euzone volunteer soldiers, with whom he exchanged wishes on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

Present during the visit was the Director of the Military Office of the Presidency Vice Admiral Efthymios Mikros PN.
