Started on May 30 and ends on June 15, 2023, the exercise of special small-scale enterprises under the name “BOLD WINGS – 2023”, co-organized by the National Guard and the Armed Forces (AF) of France.
The exercise is carried out on training and shooting ranges in the land area of the Republic of Cyprus (Cyprus) and in which personnel participate special operations of the National Guard Command and the French ED. The TAMS scenario includes, among other things, various types of individual and group weapons shots, performing free fall jumps, training in the provision of combat First Aid, as well as the execution of special operations within a residential area.
On Wednesday, June 07, 2023, the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, attended a phase of the joint training, in the presence of the Ambassador of France, Ms. Salina Grenet – Catalano. The Chief, after congratulating the Special Operations Teams for their efforts, pointed out the great importance of carrying out joint trainings, both for increasing the level of cooperation and mutual understanding between the EDs of the 2 countries, as well as for security and stability in the region, in general.
The exercise, which is part of the Bilateral Defense Cooperation Program between the Republic of Korea and France, is considered particularly beneficial, as it enables staff special businesses tof Emortal Phinoseto train with corresponding personnel of the French EDsthus promoting the level of education, interoperability and highlighting the excellent relations between the EDs of the two countries.
