Blockade with an armed Turkish F-16 in the Aegean – 81 violations

On Thursday, Turkish aircraft carried out 81 violations of the national airspace in the Northeast, Central and Southeast Aegean.

More specifically, according to the GEETHA data, a total of six Turkish aircraft participated in the violations, including two F-16 fighters, two CN-235 and two unmanned aircraft. Two of the aircraft were armed and one engagement occurred.

According to the data released, 46 violations were made by drones, 32 by CN-235s and three by F-16 fighters. The aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules.
