On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, and the Chief of General Defense Forces, General Konstantinos Floros, the Annual Memorial Service for the Fallen Hierarchs was held in an atmosphere of special emotion, at the Memorial of the same name in the Field of Ares in Athens.
The ceremony was also attended by:
● His Eminence Archimandrite Fr. Dorotheos Kyousis as representative of His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Mr. Ieronymos, who also performed the Memorial.
● The Regional Governor of Attica, Mr. Georgios Patoulis.
● The Chief GEA Vice Admiral (I) Themistoklis Bourolias, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis and Chief of General Staff Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis PN.

● The Authorized Advisor for International Relations and Etiquette and Municipal Art Gallery of the Municipality of Papagos – Cholargos, Ms. Dimitra Roufogali, as a representative of the Mayor, Mr. Ilias Apostolopoulos.

● Acting Officers.
● Close relatives of the Hierolochites, the widow of the late General Konstantinos Korkas, the granddaughter of Major General Christodoulos Tsigande and the son of the Hierolochite Drosogianni.
