The Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, held today, Monday July 4, 2022, at the Ministry of National Defense (MIND), a working meeting with its President National Center for Public Administration and Self-Government (E.K.D.D.A.) Dr. Paraskevi Dramaliotis.

During the meeting, important issues were discussed regarding the coordination, planning and timing of the upcoming actions for the development of actions and synergies in the field of training of the Armed Forces officers and students of the Military Schools, which derive from the signed Cooperation Protocol between the MINISTER and the E.K.D.D.A., on May 11, 2021.

In addition, at today’s meeting it was decided to activate during the second half of 2022, the following six new training programswith the use of modern and asynchronous distance education, exclusively for the executives, political staff and students of the SSE, following the cooperation of the School (SSE) and the E.K.D.A.D.A., concerning the teaching of foreign languages ​​and specialized subjects of a military nature:

– Organization of a conference on Public Procurement and Public Contracts.

– Developing leadership skills: Military operational research and problem solving techniques.

– Geographic information systems and their applications in Defense.

– Military terrain analysis.

– Geoinformation.

– Learning the Turkish language for SSE students.

Finally, Mr. Hardalias and Dr. Dramaliotis decided to plan a new series of meetings, for the immediate undertaking of holistic actions for new targeted training programs for the executives and civilian staff of all the General Staffs (GEETHA, GES, GEN and GEA) and the agencies of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the other Military Schools.

Immediately after the meeting, the Deputy Minister of National Defense Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias stated:

“It was with great pleasure that we hosted today at the Ministry of National Defense the President of the National Center for Public Administration and Self-Government, Dr. Paraskevi Dramaliotis, her partners, as well as the selected representatives of GEETHA, GES and SSE.

Our meeting, as a continuation of the signed Cooperation Protocol, constitutes its implementation and expansion, in the context of utilizing the expertise and experience of EKDDA, through the activation of new training programs and the development of further actions in specialized subjects that cover more specific educational needs of the executives and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces».

The President E.K.D.D.A., Dr. Paraskevi Dramaliotis, underlining the excellent cooperation between E.K.D.D.A. and of the Ministry of Health, made special mention both of the intensive implementation of the Cooperation Protocol between the two bodies with the activation of two important educational programs for the School of Hope from the coming academic year, as well as the expansion of this cooperation with the launch of four more programs for all the officers of the Armed Forces of the country.
